It started with a single email. A supplier we'd worked with for years sent through updated bank details. It looked right. The ABN was right. The invoice was right. So we paid.
Except it wasn't them. A scammer had compromised their email, swapped the bank details, and redirected our payment to a fraudulent account. By the time we realised, the money was gone. Six figures. Irrecoverable.
We know exactly what it feels like. The pit in your stomach when the bank says there's nothing they can do. The realisation that a single email cost you more than most people earn in a year.
We looked for a solution that could have prevented it. Something simple: verify the person, verify the business, verify the bank account. We couldn't find one. So we built it.
